LEASE’s interim Chair has been appointed the Independent Panel Chair of the Modification Panel for the Joint Office of Gas Transporters, effective 1st January 2020.

The gas industry is experiencing a period of unprecedented change with the emergence of new technologies and innovations, new types of demand and business models, alongside the Government’s legislative commitment to reach net-zero emission by 2050.
I am particularly looking forward to working and engaging with the gas industry, to support good governance. I wish to ensure that the rules surrounding the Uniform Network Code governance framework can meet the future strategic needs of the industry, support innovation and low emissions, whilst always ensuring that the consumer is at the very centre of our decision-making processes.”
